The first step to your success is to practice the mind-set of a healthy lifestyle. You have made a decision to live your healthiest life and now you must make sure all of your thoughts support that decision.Your thoughts become even more powerful when fueled by energy, emotion and visualization. Get in the habit of picturing yourself living in your healthiest body. Choose a photograph of yourself at your happiest and healthiest and place it somewhere you will see it everyday. Make sure to take time to stop and look at it. Experience your feelings when it was taken and allow those emotions to fire you up!Before you eat every snack or meal, think about how the food will nourish your body and soul. Before I indulge in my food, I make it a habit to say a blessing. Create one of your own, or use mine, “Thank you for the food I am about to eat. May it nourish, heal and support the optimum health of my body and soul.”You cannot allow negative thoughts to interfere with your ultimate goal. This will take practice. Throw away that negative body image and begin to embrace all the things you love about your body and yourself. Your thoughts must support your lifestyle.
